A Good Quality and Most Useful George III Mahogany Pembroke Table ( 1790 )

Dimensions:   82.50cm wide   71.00cm high   51.50cm deep (32.48 inches wide  27.95 inches high  20.28 inches deep)
Description:   The well figured one-piece solid mahogany oval top, with a rounded edge, has a folding leaf to each side, which is supported by twin wooden knuckle hinges.

The base is fitted with an oak lined, boxwood strung drawer, fitted with a lock and key to one end, and a false drawer opposite, both retaining their original brass swan neck bail handles.

The whole is raised on square tapered legs, retaining their original brass cup castors and is of a pleasing colour, in good condition and retaining a patination.
