Born in Glasgow. Educated at Giffnock school.She joined the design studio of James Templeton and attended Glasgow School of Art in the evening studying under Trevor Mackinson and William Gallacher for portrait and still life. She continued in design and painting becoming a documented designer in Aubusson, Savonnary and Bauvais.
Her designs are present in many prestigous establishments throught out the world including The New York Plaza, Waldorf Astoria, Turnberry Hotel, San Franscico Opera House as well as many Hilton Hotels, liners and Casinos. She became a full time artist in 1990 and exhibits regularly at RGI, PAI and GSWA. Her paintings are in many collections including the late Lord Morton, Lord Maclean, Robert Fleming Holdings, Ramco Oil, Dunedin Fund, Baillie and Gifford, Leone Cockburn Art, The Trustees Savings Bank, Edinburgh and South Ayshire Councils. |
