Animal painter in oil and watercolour. Studied at the Kemp-Welsh School at Bushy. Painted richly coloured oils, pastels and watercolours of animals especially horses and dogs. Moved back to Scotland where she lived in North Berwick and Edinburgh for most of her life. Her colours and technique were light and very competent. She won the Guthrie Award of the Royal Scottish Academy in 1925 and was elected to the RSW in 1924.
