SPINNING WOMAN AUTOMATION ( 1894 )

Description:   Automaton depicting a lady sitting at an authentic spinning wheel. Mounted on a rectangular base, she treadles the wheel and moves her hands from side to side, guiding the thread to the reel. She moves back and forth, her head moves and her eyes follow her movements.

A very intriguing and interesting 19th century automaton made and designed by Adolf Muller in 1894.
