Late 17th century table clock from this well known family of clockmakers. Ebony case with gilt mounts. Movement ¼ repeating on 3 bells repeat cord to both sides of the case. Fully engraved backplate and orignal verge escapement. Dial with herringbone border, alarm, calendar and strike/silent control. Movement and dial both signed by the maker. |
