A superb George III figured mahogany serpentine commode with brushing slide of compact dimensions and of excellent original colour and patina. The top with applied moulded edge and elegant serpentine shape. Below a brushing slide and four plumb pudding mahogany long graduated, cock-beaded, oak lined drawers fitted with the original rococo swan neck handles, the sides again in figured mahogany. The base with moulding edge over canted bracket feet. Highlight of this commode is its neat, compact dimensions and superb colour, patina and quality throughout.
